Haya, a characteristic feature of our faith, captures the essence of Islam. It provides a way for all people to know their Lord and themselves, enabling them to rise to the pinnacles of mankind. The Arabic word haya, which is commonly translated as "shyness," has a deeper connotation than just modesty or shame. It is more than just pride or dignity.
