Making regular, wholehearted du'a to Allah has several advantages; it boosts imaan, comforts the afflicted, and keeps the supplicant from feeling alone and hopeless.
In the Quran, Allah tells believers that He hears whatever they say when they call on Him and bring their hopes, worries, and uncertainties before Him.
Declare, "O My slaves who have sinned against their souls, do not lose hope in Allah's mercy, for Allah pardons all sins." The most merciful and forgiving person is him. (Q: 39:53)
