There are various advantages to making du'a to Allah on a regular basis, including an increase in imaan, comfort and hope for those in need, and protection against loneliness and despair for the one making the du'a. Allah invites believers to call on him and to lay their hopes, anxieties, and uncertainties before him in the Qur'an. He assures them that he hears whatever they say.
