People are naturally interested in their own nature, which makes psychology one of the most fascinating scientific fields. Ironically, a plethora of theories and explanations exist that confuse and mislead the same species they are supposed to explain. Our own souls and psyches are among the many aspects of our existence that Allah has gifted us with wisdom in. Islam provides a clear, thorough, and accurate explanation of our spiritual nature, our goals and objectives in life, and how we can achieve contentment and tranquility both here on Earth and in the hereafter. This work is a modest attempt to elaborate on the Qur'an and Sunnah-based view of human psychology. Furthermore, Dr. Utz cites certain scientific studies that support and expand on what is already known from revelation.
